The Pick by Light system is controlled by the warehouse management software (WMS) via the network, allowing users to communicate bidirectionally in real time.
During the order picking process, a light signal (LED/display) is activated, indicating the location from which the products must be picked, as well as the quantity to be collected.
The operator completes the process by deactivating the light signal with a simple touch and then moves on to the next location.
With their hands free, operators can pick orders quickly, eliminating time-consuming tasks such as reading picking locations, searching for positions, or checking lists — thus improving order fulfillment time and reducing picking errors.
