The recent completion of Alfa Pastry’s (Athanasios D. Koukoutaris) new storage facility in Kozani marks a significant milestone, supporting one of the most advanced production units in Europe.

The state-of-the-art storage unit includes two cold storage chambers (-25°C) with a total area of 1,680 sq.m. and a height of 12 m. These chambers operate using the Mobile Racking System provided by VOYATZOGLOU. This system features shelving units mounted on floor-embedded bases, controlled remotely. It is a highly efficient storage solution, as there are no permanent aisles between the racks. Instead, one or two aisles are created on demand via remote control, enabling access to specific racks as needed.

The project also includes dry storage chambers with a capacity of 2,750 pallet positions, designated for the storage of raw materials.
